LeVar Robinson has been selected to serve as sponsor and director of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµâ€™s Gospel Choir.
Robinson, of Morton, takes over for Brenda K. Johnson, who recently retired as director of the student group. Johnson provided leadership for the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Gospel Choir from 1988-2022.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ student Alex Sharp of Philadelphia was selected as the new president of the state of Mississippi’s DECA Collegiate Division for the 2022-23 year at that organization’s state conference Feb. 17-18 at the Natchez Convention Center.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ in Decatur has announced audition information for students interested in being a member of the college’s Concert Choir and Vocé vocal ensemble for the 2022-23 school year.
Auditions for Concert Choir will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon on Friday, April 8, Thursday, April 14, and Friday, April 22, in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on campus. There will also be audition days the week before school starts in August, as well as the first two days of Fall 2022 classes (August 15-16).

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ men's tennis team fell to 2-4 overall and to 1-4 in MACCC late last week with a 7-2 loss to the Hinds Community College Eagles in Raymond on Friday, February 18. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ is slated to return to the court this Tuesday, February 22, with a match against Itawamba, but the weather could affect the match time.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Lady Warriors fell 9-0 to the Hinds Lady Eagles in Raymond on Friday, February 18. The loss is the third straight for the Lady Warriors and dropped the team to 2-4, 1-4 on the year. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ hopes to straighten the ship this week with a contest against ICC set for Tuesday, February 22, at 2 p.m.
