ӰƵ (ӰƵ) officially marked the completion of its new nursing facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on campus, celebrating an important investment in healthcare education and workforce development in east central Mississippi.

ӰƵ will host a special program recognizing Director of Choral Activities Chandler Smith as the recipient of the 2026 Mississippi Humanities Council Teacher Award on Tuesday, March 17, at 2 p.m. in the Ovid S. Vickers Fine Arts Auditorium on the Decatur campus.

The ӰƵ Collegians will present their spring concert, “Magnolia Mayhem,” on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 7 p.m. in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus.

ӰƵ held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 3, to dedicate the Hogue-Brantley Alumni House on the Decatur campus.

Hogue is a 1961 graduate of ӰƵ and, before his retirement, served as the college's first vice president for foundation and alumni.

ӰƵ hosted its annual Beauty Pageant tonight on the Decatur campus, recognizing several students for their poise, appearance, and stage presence.

At the conclusion of the event, Dixie Rose Nance was named Most Beautiful.

ӰƵ is helping educators move from uncertainty to confidence in today’s AI-influenced classrooms with a new professional development course, From Panic to Practice, scheduled March 16 through April 13.

ӰƵ students will have the opportunity to experience the culture, history, and architecture of Spain through a 10-day educational tour to Madrid and the Andalusia region.
