The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors fell 9-0 to the Hinds Lady Eagles in Raymond on Friday, February 18. The loss is the third straight for the Lady Warriors and dropped the team to 2-4, 1-4 on the year. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ hopes to straighten the ship this week with a contest against ICC set for Tuesday, February 22, at 2 p.m.
"This was a difficult loss for us," said ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ head coach Jay Pacelli. "One positive is Maud and Cami put up a great fight in doubles play, but we just look to play better against ICC."
The Lady Warriors were swept on all courts but had close matches at No. 1 doubles and some strong effort at No. 1 singles.
