The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men's tennis team fell to 2-4 overall and to 1-4 in MACCC late last week with a 7-2 loss to the Hinds Community College Eagles in Raymond on Friday, February 18. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ is slated to return to the court this Tuesday, February 22, with a match against Itawamba, but the weather could affect the match time.
"We got beat on every doubles court and that set the tone for the match," said ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ head coach Jay Pacelli. "We look to turn our fortunes around this week."
The 3-0 sweep in doubles play did not bode well for ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ heading into singles action, but and overcame the adversity and picked up a pair of wins on the singles courts.
