ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur has announced pre-tryout clinics and tryout dates for those interested in being a part of the 2022-23 Cheerleading Team.
All clinics and tryouts will be held in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the campus in Decatur. Additional information on tryout requirements, what to bring, and registration and waiver forms can be found on the Cheer page at . All fees are non-refundable.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ will officially open the new Thomas W. Carson Band Hall with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8. The public is invited to attend.

Dr. Justin Sharp, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ music/keyboard instructor, was selected the college’s Humanities Teacher of the Year and will present a special program Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 2:25 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium on the Decatur campus. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

The Lady Warriors of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ had a tough loss on Monday night, January 31, as the team traveled to Wesson to take on the Co-Lin Lady Wolves. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ fell in the contest, 77-45, and dropped to 7-9, 3-6 on the year. Co-Lin improved to 11-7, 5-4 on the year.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors fired off a 12-1 run in the final three minutes on Monday night, January 31, but it was not enough as the Co-Lin Wolves took down ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Brackeen-Wood Gymanisum, 74-66. The loss dropped the Warriors to 4-11, 2-7 on the year, while the Wolves improved to 6-11, 3-6.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Gospel Choir will present a Virtual Black History Month Celebration at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

The Warriors of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ had a stellar start to the 2022 season on Friday afternoon, January 28, as the team blew by the Northeast Tigers, 9-0. The Warriors are now 1-0 in the young season.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors had a great start to the 2022 season Friday, January 28, as the team swept the Northeast Lady Tigers, 9-0. The Lady Warriors controlled both the doubles and singles courts on their way to a 1-0 start.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior basketball dropped a low-scoring home contest January 27 to Southwest Mississippi, 44-39. The Lady Warriors made a heroic late-game push in the final minutes but came up just short in the MACCC matchup. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ fell to 7-8 overall and to 3-5 in conference play while the Lady Bears improved to 12-5, 7-1.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors have scheduled open football tryouts for the 2022 season for Friday, February 11 at 10:30 a.m. The tryouts will be held on Warrior Field at Bailey Stadium in Decatur on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ campus.
