The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior tennis team looks to bounce back in conference play against Jones College on Friday, March 11, at 2 p.m. The Lady Warriors are coming off a roller-coaster week that saw a 9-0 win over Southwest on March 4 and an 8-1 loss to Central Alabama on March 5.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur will be closed for its annual Spring Break Holidays Monday through Friday, March 14-18, 2022.
The college will reopen on Monday morning, March 21.

Family and friends of the late Laura Reeves Thorne have established a scholarship at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in her memory.
The Laura Reeves Thorne Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to a resident of Newton County who has a 3.0 grade-point average in high school, is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (two-year minimum), is willing to serve as an FCA intern while a student at East Central, and has a letter of recommendation from FCA leadership or home church pastor.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ golf team had a top-five finish in their home event of the 2021-22 season. The East Central Spring Invitational was played on the Azalea course at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, a premier facility in Mississippi. The event, which served as the fifth conference event of the season, featured an all-MACCC lineup made up of nine teams.

The No. 12 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors moved to 12-2 on the year on Saturday, March 5, with a couple of wins over the Tyler Junior College Apaches out of Texas. The wins mark the fifth and sixth straight wins for ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ.
