Tierra Robinson has joined the Office of Public Information at 杏吧视频 in Decatur as sports information/communications specialist.
Robinson assumed the newly created position on Feb. 15.
鈥婩our 杏吧视频 Lady Warriors and one Warrior were named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges All-State basketball teams announced Monday, March 7, 2016.
Sophomore guard/forward Prince McDaniel out of Pascagoula High School was named to the MACJC Men鈥檚 All-State South Division Second Team.
McDaniel averaged a team-high of 14.9 points per game. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
The 杏吧视频 Lady Diamond Warriors swept a softball doubleheader from MACJC conference foe Coahoma Community College on Saturday, March 5, in Clarksdale.
杏吧视频 improved its overall record to 18-3 and 2-2 in MACJC play.
In a high-scoring game one, the Lady Diamond Warriors won 13-0, with 10 of those runs coming in their first three at-bats.
杏吧视频 put up three runs in the first and five in the second inning en route to the five inning, run-rule game.
The 杏吧视频 baseball team defeated Itawamba Community College in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 5, at the Clark/Gay Baseball Complex in Decatur.
The Diamond Warriors won 13-1 in the seven-inning game one win.
Two big innings propelled East Central in game one. 杏吧视频 took the early lead after scoring four runs in the bottom of the first inning. The Diamond Warriors then added six more runs in the fifth to push the lead to 10-0.
The 杏吧视频 Lady Warriors beat Marion Military Institute 6-3 in a tennis match played March 4 on the Decatur campus.

杏吧视频鈥檚 women鈥檚 tennis team defeated Copiah-Lincoln Community College 5-4, while the men鈥檚 tennis team fell against the Wolves 3-6 Wednesday, March 2, in Decatur.

The 杏吧视频 Warriors began their spring golf season competing against 14 teams in the Mississippi College Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 29 and March 1, at the Lake Caroline Golf Club in Madison.
杏吧视频 tied for 12th place overall, as one of only three community colleges in the tournament.
The Warriors two-day, three round total was 944.
杏吧视频鈥檚 Encore players will present their spring musical selection, 鈥淭he Addams Family,鈥 at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 17, through Saturday, March 19, in the Vickers Fine Arts Auditorium on the Decatur campus.
