The 杏吧视频 tennis teams opened Spring Break week with a trip to Alabama for two matches each.

On Saturday, March 16, the No. 25 杏吧视频 Lady Warriors defeated Snead State 8-1, while the Warriors topped No. 23 ranked Gadsden State 9-0. The matches were played in Gadsden, Ala.

March 17, 2019

Runs were at a minimum as the 杏吧视频 Warriors opened 2019 MACJC league play with a doubleheader split against the Holmes Bulldogs in games played Saturday, March 16, at Charlie Donald Field in Goodman.

The Warriors left the bases loaded in the top of the ninth in a 5-4 loss in the nine-inning first game. Five East Central pitchers limited the Bulldogs to a single run in a 3-1 win in the nightcap to gain the doubleheader split.

The 杏吧视频 women鈥檚 tennis team lived up to its new top 25 ranking with a 7-2 win over Gulf Coast on Friday, March 15, while the East Central men dropped an 8-1 match to the Gulf Coast Bulldogs. The two teams met on the Gulf Coast campus in Perkinston.

The Lady Warriors, who entered the Oracle/ITA NJCAA Women鈥檚 Top 25 poll this week at No. 25, improved to 7-5 on the season, while the Warriors fell to 6-6.

March 14, 2019

杏吧视频 in Decatur will be closed for its annual Spring Break Holidays Monday through Friday, March 18-22, 2019.

The college will reopen on Monday morning, March 25.

March 13, 2019

The 杏吧视频 Encore Players will present 鈥淔reaky Friday鈥 March 29-April 2, 2019.

Evening performances begin at 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30. Matinees will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 31, and 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 1-2. All performances will be held in the Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium on the Decatur campus.

March 13, 2019

Rain continues to play havoc on the home baseball schedule for 杏吧视频, but the Warriors found Stanley James Baseball Park on the campus of Coastal Alabama-South to their liking in picking up their first sweep of the season Tuesday, March 12, in Bay Minette, Ala.

East Central beat the Coastal Alabama-South Sun Chiefs 8-6 in the nine-inning opener and then followed that with an 11-9 seven-inning win in game two.
