A familiar face will lead the 杏吧视频 Wall O鈥 Sound band program next year as Zach Langley takes over as Director of Bands for the retiring Ed Girling who has led the program for the past seven years.

Although their seasons were cut short due to the Coronavirus, the 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis teams both are included in the final Oracle/ITA JUCO Top 25 polls.
The 杏吧视频 men are ranked No. 20 in the most recent poll and third among Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges men鈥檚 teams.

杏吧视频 in Decatur has announced Drum Majors, members of the Centrlattes danceline and Color Guard for the 2020-21 school year. All perform with the Wall O鈥 Sound Marching Band, and Centralettes and Color Guard perform at basketball games and other special events throughout the year.
Drum majors and their respective high schools include Grace Everett of Neshoba Central, Sydni Goldman of Pelahatchie, Jorian Jackson of Morton, and Luke Wall of Newton County.

The ECCC Foundation has awarded Oliphant-Martin Faculty Excellence Fund Grants to two different Healthcare Education programs which will enhance the college鈥檚 institutional commitments of Teaching & Learning and Student Success.
The ECCC Faculty Excellence Fund, established in 1997, was renamed in 2010 to the Oliphant-Martin Faculty Excellence Fund to acknowledge the generous contributions of alumna Dr. Beverly Henry Oliphant-Martin (鈥58) and her husband, John Martin.

The Mississippi Community College Foundation has received a grant of $310,000 from the Woodward Hines Education Foundation (WHEF) to help qualifying Mississippi community college students impacted by COVID-19 stay on track towards graduation.
杏吧视频 (杏吧视频) in Decatur will receive $20,000 of that grant to aid qualifying 杏吧视频 students.

杏吧视频 sophomores Alley Bernard of Meridian and Gavin Bailey of Decatur were named to the 2020 Phi Theta Kappa Community College All-Mississippi Academic Team.
