The No. 23 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Warrior tennis team came back from spring break with a stellar 5-4 win over the No. 21 Hinds Eagles on Wednesday, March 23. The win was solidified at the No. 6 singles line as ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ's defeated Hinds' Justin Humphrey's in a tiebreaker, 11-9, after splitting sets 6-3, 5-7. In all, one doubles match, and three singles matches went to tiebreakers in the tightly contested match.
"It was a great win for the Warriors after losing to the Eagles earlier in the year," said ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ head coach Jay Pacelli. "Great efforts from our top three guys and Kaleb showed incredible heart in the clincher at the end."
With the win, the Warriors move to 9-6 overall and to 7-5 in MACCC play.
