杏吧视频鈥檚 2018 Warrior Wonderland scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, has been canceled due to the potential for rain in the late afternoon and evening.

Warrior Wonderland was scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., immediately following the Decatur Christmas Parade, and last until 8:30 p.m. on the 杏吧视频 campus in Decatur. Several national and local weather forecasts indicate the high potential for rain beginning late Friday afternoon and continuing throughout the evening and into Saturday.

杏吧视频 in Decatur will hold an Orientation Session Thursday, Jan. 3, for those new students who wish to attend 杏吧视频 during the spring 2019 semester and have yet to register for classes.

The 杏吧视频 basketball teams opened MACJC South Division play Dec. 3 with a couple of tough road losses to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in the Weathers-Wentzell Center on the MGCCC campus in Perkinston.

The 杏吧视频 Small Business Development Center will offer a free seminar on 鈥淔irst Steps-The Process of Starting a Small Business鈥 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at the Carthage Career Advancement Center, located at 121 West Main Street, Carthage.

This seminar will include basic steps in starting your own business. Topics will include licenses and permits, legal forms of ownership, basic marketing concepts, lending terminology and outlining a business plan.

The 杏吧视频 softball program will hold its first Strike Zone Report/Softball Showcase on Jan. 26, 2019, at the 杏吧视频 Softball Park on the campus in Decatur.

The event from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. is for softball players who will graduate high school in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024.
