The 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 tennis team picked up a 9-0 shutout road win over the Copiah-Lincoln Wolves Saturday, Feb. 9, in Wesson. The 杏吧视频 women fell 8-1 to the Co-Lin Lady Wolves

The 杏吧视频 men are now 2-1 on the young season, while the Lady Warriors fell to 1-2.

鈥淚t was a good win against an undermanned Co-Lin men鈥檚 team,鈥 said 杏吧视频 head coach Jay Pacelli. 鈥淭he men took care of business. On the women鈥檚 side, I鈥檓 looking for improved play when we face Holmes next week. The women are struggling at the moment.鈥

杏吧视频 head women鈥檚 soccer coach Ryan Joiner announced 13 additions to the Lady Warrior program for the 2019 season. The signees include 11 high school seniors from the state of Mississippi and two international players.

After coming up on the short end of a lot of close basketball games of late, the 杏吧视频 Warriors finally won a close one with a 77-72 victory over the Copiah-Lincoln Wolves Thursday, Feb. 7. The East Central Lady Warriors dropped their second straight game in the opener 70-60 to the Lady Wolves.

The MACJC South Division games were played in Grayson L. Mullen Gym in Wesson.

The nationally ranked Jones College tennis teams handed 杏吧视频 a pair of losses in MACJC matches played Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Tennis Complex on the 杏吧视频 campus in Decatur.

杏吧视频 head football coach Ken Karcher announced the addition of 20 new members to the Warrior football team on National Signing Day Wednesday, Feb. 6.

The newcomers are all high school seniors.
