Visiting LSU-Eunice got two goals in each half to defeat the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors 4-1 in the first-ever meeting between the two programs Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Soccer Field in Decatur.
The Lady Bengals from Eunice, La., are in their first season playing NJCAA Region 23 soccer.
East Central’s lone goal came off the foot of freshman forward Macey Spencer of Florence unassisted early in the second half.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors shutout an opponent for the first time since the opening match of the season, while the Warriors fell to an undefeated opponent for the second straight match as Southwest Mississippi visited Decatur on Friday, Sept. 21.
The Lady Warriors beat the Lady Bears 3-0 in the opening match, while the Warriors fell 7-2 to the Bears in the nightcap. The matches were played in Bailey Stadium on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ campus.

Three ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors and three Warriors have been selected to participate in the 2018 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges Soccer Sophomore All-Star Matches to be played Saturday, Nov. 10, at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland.
The women’s match is set for 2 p.m. with the men's match to follow at 4:30 p.m.

The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs took a 5-1 win over the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors, and the Bulldogs followed with a 4-0 shutout of the East Central Warriors in MACJC North Division soccer action Friday, Sept. 7, at Bailey Stadium on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ campus in Decatur.
East Central’s only goal in the women’s match came in the first half off the foot of freshman forward Bethany Hand of Dublin Ireland. It was the first goal allowed this season by the Holmes Lady Bulldogs.

Powered by a pair of goals from sophomore midfielder Vitor Gomes, the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors won their first soccer match of the young season 3-2 over the home-standing Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers. The East Central women fell short in their bid for a win in a 4-2 loss to the Lady Rangers.
The MACJC North Division matches were played Wednesday, Sept. 5, on the Northwest campus in Senatobia.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ soccer teams opened their home seasons Friday, Aug. 31, dropping a pair of matches to visiting MACJC North Division foe Itawamba Community College at the Soccer Field in Decatur.
The Lady Warriors took a 1-0 lead into halftime but could not hold on as the Itawamba Lady Indians scored two second half goals for the 2-1 win.
Freshman forward Leah Anderson of Leyland, England, got East Central’s first half goal.

For the second time in five days, the road was not kind to the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men’s and women’s soccer teams as they both lost matches at Pearl River Community College on Tuesday, Aug. 28, in Poplarville.
In the opener, the Pearl River Lady Wildcats made a first half goal stand up in a 1-0 shutout of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors
