ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur will hold tryouts for the 2021-22 Cheerleading Squad from 8 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, April 10, in the South Campus Gymnasium.
There is a $25 fee for all participants.

The Lady Warrior tennis team came as close as they could to snagging a win against the Lady Tigers of Marion Military Institute on Saturday, Jan. 30, but fell just short, 5-4. The loss moves ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ to 1-1 on the young season and moves the Tigers to 1-2.

The Tigers of Marion Military Institute (2-1) and the East Central Warriors (1-1) squared off in tennis Friday, Jan. 29, in an early-season matchup. East Central battled hard but ultimately fell to MMI, 6-3.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Wall O’ Sound Band has announced its Spring 2021 performance schedule.
The Centralettes Dance Line will be performing at select home basketball games in Decatur this semester. A full basketball schedule can be found at ecccathletics.com. Due to COVID-19, attendance is limited in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium; however, the home games and all halftime entertainment can be viewed through live stream at eccclive.com.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Director of Bands Zach Langley has announced audition and workshop dates for those interested in becoming a member of the Wall O’ Sound Band or its auxiliary groups, which include the Centralettes Dance Line, Color Guard and Drum Majors.
Auditions for instrumental and percussion positions will be completed at local high schools during the month of February. Special audition dates are available upon request.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior tennis team picked up an early victory on Tuesday afternoon as the team ran away with a 9-0 win over the Southwest Lady Bears from Summit. The win grows the record to 1-0 on the young season as the always-talented Marion Military Institute Lady Tigers travel to Decatur on Saturday, January 30 at 11 a.m. for the second match of the season.

It was all East Central during the 2021 tennis season opener on Tuesday afternoon as the team defeated the Bears from Southwest Mississippi Community College, 9-0. The early win moves ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ to 1-0 on the year as they look towards their next opponent, Marion Military Insitute, who travels to Decatur this Friday, January 29. Matches start at 11 a.m.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur is offering a Four-Week Online Term starting in March where students can complete select classes in less than 30 days.
The term begins on Monday, March 15, and ends on Friday, April 9. The last day to register for classes is Monday, March 15.
Classes being offered include Accounting I, The Legal Environment of Business, Career Exploration, and College Study Skills.
