Ethan Paschal, a Poplarville, Miss. native, has been named as the new ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ head coach of the men's soccer program. Paschal will follow long-time coach, Kenneth Thompson, who announced his retirement prior to the start of the 2020-21 season.

More than 130 students were inducted into ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ’s Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges, during ceremonies held recently in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus.

The No. 19 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors improved to 6-0-2 on the year, with a 1-0 shutout over the Hinds Eagles April 26.
Much like the contest with Holmes, the match was a stalemate at the half as neither team could score in the opening 45 minutes.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ's (Decatur) has been named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Goalie of the Week after her stellar performance against the No. 2 ranked Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs last Friday, April 23.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors have had a back-and-forth couple of days as the team swept the Coahoma Lady Tigers on the road April 23, before falling to the Northwest Lady Rangers at home April 26, in a pair of games. The 2-2 swing moves ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ to 12-26 on the year and to 10-16 in MACCC play.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ’s annual Kids’ College will return in 2021 after a one-year absence due to COVID-19.
Kids’ College 2021 on the Decatur campus will run June 21-25 with several daily activities for those ages 6 through 12.
