With a 2-1 win over Holmes Community College in Ridgeland Friday, Oct. 14, the 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 soccer team won its sixth straight match.
Scoring for the Warriors were Blake Bonds, a produce of Germantown High School, assisted by Fredy Gutierrez of Pontotoc High School, and Jacob Thomas our of Northwest Rankin High School, assisted by Tanner Lindsey, also a product of Northwest Rankin.
The win improved 杏吧视频 to 9-6 on the season and 5-2 in the North Division.

The 杏吧视频 women鈥檚 soccer team fell 1-0 on the road against Holmes Community College Friday, Oct. 14, in Ridgeland.
The loss dropped 杏吧视频 to 11-3 on the season and 5-2 in the MACJC North Division.
East Central and Holmes remained scoreless during the first half, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to score two minutes into the second half for the only goal they would need.
The 杏吧视频 Workforce Development Center will offer a Welding course at the Louisville-Winston County Career-Technical Center beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25.
The class will meet from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for three consecutive weeks. Instruction includes GMAW, FCAW and MCAW processes.
Cost to attend is $150 per person. Shane McDaniel will serve as instructor.
杏吧视频鈥檚 Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, will host 鈥淪uper Stellar Night,鈥 a prom for special needs students in the five-county district, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria on the Decatur campus.

A grant from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation is boosting 杏吧视频鈥檚 efforts to create and sustain a culture of wellness on its campuses with a $127,500 grant to support the college鈥檚 new Warrior Wellness initiative.

The 2016-17 editions of the 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams will be on display at the annual 鈥淗aunted House of Hoops鈥 scheduled for Monday, Oct. 31. Activities begin at 7 p.m. in the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building on the Decatur campus.
The 杏吧视频 Workforce Development Center will offer a Basic Automotive Repair course at the Philadelphia/Neshoba County Career-Technical Center beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25.
The class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. for eight consecutive Tuesdays.
Cost to attend is $150 per person. Kirt Doss will serve as instructor.

The class will meet from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for eight consecutive weeks.
Cost to attend is $776 per person, which includes all materials except the TB Skin Test. The WorkKeys test will be given and participants must score a Silver level to attend this class. Alan Krajewski will serve as instructor.

Director of Bands Ed Girling of Carthage is 杏吧视频鈥檚 鈥淗umanities Instructor of the Year鈥 and will be recognized Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, on the Decatur campus.
Girling will present a special program, held in conjunction with Arts and Humanities Month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center auditorium.
