ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Offering Numerous Courses During Summer Online, On-Campus Terms
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur is offering a variety of courses this summer both online and on the Decatur campus. Classes are also offered at the Philadelphia-Neshoba County Career-Technical Center.
In addition, the year-round status of the Federal Pell Grant was recently reinstated in 2017, which means students may be eligible for Pell Grants for the summer terms using their current 2018-19 FAFSA.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors picked up a convincing win over the nation’s No. 7 ranked baseball team in game one of a doubleheader and then saw its hopes of a sweep end by an extra inning walk-off home run in the nightcap.
East Central defeated No. 7 Pearl River 8-2 in the opening game of an MACJC baseball doubleheader Wednesday, April 10, at Dub Herring Park on the PRCC campus in Poplarville, before the Wildcats won the second game 2-1 in dramatic fashion.
The honors keep coming for ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ's Thomas Boothe. The sophomore right-hander has added National Junior College Athletic Association Division II National Pitcher of the Week to his accolades after a stellar performance on the mound for the Warriors last week.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ will host its fifth annual East Central Mississippi High School All-Star Basketball Games Saturday, April 13, in the Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the Decatur campus.
The Underclass Women’s All-Star Game begins at 2:30 p.m., the Senior Women’s All-Star Game at 4 p.m., the Underclass Men’s All-Star Game at 5:00 p.m., and the Senior Men’s All-Star Game at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $8 for the day.

Freshman Braelyn Boykin pitched a four-hitter in the nightcap to help the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors defeat the Southwest Lady Bears 2-1 and salvage a split in MACJC softball action Tuesday, April 9, in Summit.
East Central tried to rally from an eight-run deficit in the opener, but fell short 9-7.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ is offering several courses during its May Semester, including General Biology I with Lab, English Composition I & II, Anatomy and Physiology I & II with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, College Algebra, General Physics I-A with Lab, and Public Speaking.
The two-week term begins on Monday, May 13, and ends on Friday, May 24. The last day to register is Tuesday, May 14. All courses are on the campus in Decatur.
