No. 10 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Softball Splits Series at Pearl River

The No. 10 ranked ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Lady Warriors came back strong to take a 10-7 win in the nightcap and earn a doubleheader split at Pearl River Community College Wednesday, April 18.

The MACJC conference games were played at Lady Wildcat Stadium in Poplarville.

The Pearl River Lady Wildcats won the opener 7-2. East Central ran out to a 10-1 lead in the second game and held on for the 10-7 win.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµâ€™s Cassie Obman Named MACJC Softball Player of the Week

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ sophomore catcher Cassie Obman has been named the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges Softball Player of the Week for April 9-15.

The product of Caledonia High School helped the No. 15 ranked Lady Warriors go 4-0 during the week with sweeps over Hinds Community College and Mississippi Delta Community College.

No. 6 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Softball Splits Doubleheader at Holmes

The No. 6 ranked ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Lady Warriors came back to win game two after losing in walk-off fashion in the opener of an MACJC softball doubleheader at Holmes Community College Friday, March 30, at Lady Bulldog Softball Field in Goodman.

The Lady Warriors are now 23-7 overall on the season and 10-6 in MACJC play, while the Holmes Lady Bulldogs are 13-13 overall and 6-10 in league play.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Softball Gets Road Sweep in Battle of Top 10 Teams

In a battle of NJCAA Top 10 softball teams, the No. 9 ranked ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Lady Warriors came up with a big road sweep of No. 7 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Wednesday, March 21, in Biloxi.

East Central scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning and held on for a 7-5 win in game one. The Lady Warriors took game two 8-0 in five innings behind timely hitting and the pitching of Mackenzie Rousseau.

The games were played at Biloxi High School.
