ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Soccer Seasons End in MACJC Quarterfinals at Jones

The 2019 seasons ended for the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ soccer teams as the Lady Warriors and Warriors both lost to their opponents from Jones College in the MACJC Quarterfinals in matches played Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Bobcat Soccer Field on the Jones campus in Ellisville.
The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors lost 2-1 to the Lady Bobcats in a match that went 90 minutes of regulation, two 10-minute overtime periods, and into penalty kicks where Jones came out on top 3-2. The Warriors fell 7-0 to Jones in the men’s match.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Soccer Teams Split with Visiting Hinds on Sophomore Night

A goal in the 49th minute propelled the East Central Lady Warriors to a 1-0 win over the visiting Hinds Lady Eagles, while the Warriors dropped a 4-1 match to MACJC North Division-leading Hinds in matches played Friday, Oct. 11, at Bailey Stadium on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ campus in Decatur.
It was Sophomore night for the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ teams as nine Lady Warriors and three Warriors were honored between matches.
