The Lady Warriors of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ fell to 0-1 in conference play on Thursday night, Dec. 2, as the Pearl River Lady Wildcats remained undefeated on the year with a 76-49 victory. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ drops to 4-4 on the season, while PRCC moved to 7-0.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ in Decatur will close for the Christmas holidays beginning Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.
Orientation for new students for the spring 2022 term will be held Thursday, Jan. 6, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center auditorium. Day and evening classes for the spring semester begin on Monday, Jan. 10.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Warriors lost a heartbreaker to Coahoma Community College on Monday night, Nov. 29, 82-80, to fall to 2-4 on the year. The Warriors are back at home this Thursday, December 2 as ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ host Pearl River Community College at 6 p.m. to tipoff MACCC play.

A strong second and third quarter was the difference-maker for the East Central Lady Warriors on Monday night, Nov. 29, as the team topped the Coastal Alabama-North Lady Eagles, 60-56, in front of a noisy home crowd in Decatur. The victory moved the Lady Warriors to 4-3 on the year and gives the team some momentum heading into the MACCC play beginning on Thursday.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Warriors traveled to Wesson on Thanksgiving break Nov. 22 to take on the Wolves of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The Wolves topped ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ in the contest and dropped the Warriors to 2-3 on the year, while Co-Lin improved to 2-4.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ men's basketball team fell to 2-2 on the year on Thursday after falling to Meridian 74-64 in Graham Gymnasium. It was a packed crowd, filled with many ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ fans making the short trip to Meridian, but ultimately the Warriors came just short.
It was all Meridian in the opening half of play on Thursday night as the Eagles quickly built up a lead before taking a 36-21 lead into the locker room.

Area educators recently attended the annual High School Counselors’ Workshop at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ in Decatur, where they were provided information on academic transfer, career-technical and healthcare programs, ACT testing, financial aid, scholarships, housing and admissions.
