杏吧视频 Tennis Teams Sweep Second Straight Conference Matches

The 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis teams picked up their second MACJC conference sweep in as many days with a pair of wins at Copiah-Lincoln in Wesson on Friday, March 6.

The No. 20 East Central Lady Warriors defeated the No. 25 ranked Co-Lin Lady Wolves 7-2, while the Warriors defeated the Wolves 8-1.

The 杏吧视频 Lady Warriors are now 8-3 on the season and the Warriors are 7-4.

The 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis teams picked up big conference match wins over visiting Meridian Community College Thursday, March 5, at the Tennis Complex on the campus in Decatur.

The No. 20 East Central Lady Warriors defeated the No. 23 Meridian Lady Eagles 5-4, while the Warriors defeated Meridian 7-2.

The matches originally began on Feb. 4, but were suspended at that time due to weather.

The 杏吧视频 Lady Warriors are now 7-3 on the season and the Warriors are 6-4.

杏吧视频 Baseball Drops 2 Games On Louisiana Road Trip

The 杏吧视频 baseball Warriors made a quick trip to Louisiana Tuesday, March 3, dropping games to Kellogg Community College and Baton Rouge Community College in games played at Pete Goldsby Field on the BRCC campus.

Kellogg College out of Battle Creek, Mich., defeated the Warriors 10-6 in the opening seven-inning contest, while Baton Rouge won the seven-inning nightcap 4-3.

East Central is now 7-7 on the season. The Kellogg Bruins are 3-6, and the Baton Rouge Bears are 12-13.

Walk-Off Single Gives Baseball Warriors Sweep Over Coastal Alabama-South

March 1, 2020

A walk-off single by Roper Ball in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the 杏吧视频 Warriors a 6-5 game two win and a baseball sweep over the visiting Coastal Alabama-South Sun Chiefs Saturday, Feb. 29.

East Central won the opener 13-9.

East Central is now 7-5 on the season. The visitors from Bay Minette, Ala., are 1-13.

It was the second straight day that the Warriors played a doubleheader at the Clark-Gay Baseball Complex on campus, having split with No. 12 Northeast on Friday.

杏吧视频 Men鈥檚 Tennis Defeats Gadsden State 5-4

The No. 20 ranked 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 tennis team stepped out of conference to defeat Gadsden State (Ala.) 5-4 in a match played Saturday, Feb. 29, at the 杏吧视频 Tennis Complex on campus.

With the win, the Warriors improve to 4-4. The No. 25 ranked Gadsden State Cardinals are 0-4.

鈥淲e survived against a Gadsden State team that fought us tooth and nail,鈥 said 杏吧视频 head tennis coach Jay Pacelli. 鈥淥ur top two doubles teams bounced back today after tough loses at Jones yesterday.鈥
