ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Softball Scores 27 in Sweep of Mississippi Delta

The No. 14 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior softball team pounded out 33 hits and plated 27 runs in sweeping a doubleheader from the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans Sunday afternoon, March 26, in Moorhead.
East Central won the first game 14-2 in five innings and then took the nightcap 13-2 in six innings.
With the wins, the Lady Warriors improved to 26-4 on the season and 11-3 in MACJC league play.
Baseball Warriors Sweep Holmes With Impressive Day At The Plate

The bats were hot for the No. 7 ranked Diamond Warriors on Friday, March 24, as the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ baseball scored 41 runs through two games to sweep the Holmes Community College Bulldogs in Goodman. The solid hitting performance landed ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ a 30-1 and 11-2 wins.
With the sweep, East Central improved to 20-4 on the season and 6-0 in MACJC league play.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Tennis Teams Rebound from Losses to Sweep Holmes

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men’s and women’s tennis teams rebounded from losses to nationally ranked Meridian teams earlier in the week to sweep Holmes Community College by identical 9-0 scores in matches played Friday, March 24, at the new Tennis Complex in Decatur.
The No. 17 ranked Warriors improved their record to 7-4 on the season, while the Lady Warriors improved to 5-6.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Softball Picks Up Two Wins Against Hinds

The No. 14 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior softball team picked up a sweep Wednesday, March 22, over Hinds Community College in Raymond.
East Central won the opener of the doubleheader 5-0, and then took game two 9-6.
The Lady Warriors are now 24-4 on the season and 9-3 in MACJC league play. Hinds drops to 6-21 overall.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Tennis Teams Fall to Nationally Ranked Meridian

The nationally ranked Meridian Community College tennis teams swept matches from the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men’s and women’s teams at the Tennis Complex in Decatur March 22.
The No. 20 ranked Meridian women defeated the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors 9-0, while the No. 13 Meridian men beat the No.17 East Central Warriors 9-0. The East Central women are now 4-6 overall on the season and the men are 6-4.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Splits Softball Doubleheader with Northwest

The No. 12 ranked ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ softball team ended its 10-game spring break schedule by splitting a doubleheader against the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers at the Softball Park in Decatur Sunday, March 19.
The Lady Diamond Warriors lost the first game of the afternoon 6-3, but picked up a 6-2 victory over the Rangers in game two.
With the split, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ is now 22-4 overall and 7-3 in MACJC league play.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Men’s Tennis Moves to No. 17 in National Rankings

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men’s tennis team moved up five spots to No. 17 in the nation in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released March 16.
The Warriors, under the direction of second year head coach Jay Pacelli, were previously ranked No. 22 in the nation.
