The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ women’s soccer team battled for 90 minutes of regulation play and 20 minutes of two overtimes, but could not find the net in a 0-0 draw with the Pearl River Community College Lady Wildcats Monday, Sept. 25.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Women’s Soccer Gets Back on Winning Track at Hinds

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ women’s soccer team halted a three match losing streak Tuesday, Sept. 12, with a 5-0 shutout win at Hinds Community College.
The Lady Warriors, who were struggling to find the net in the three loses scoring only one goal, scored three first-half goals and added two more in the second half of action.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warrior Soccer Remains Undefeated in Division Play

After a scoreless first half, the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men’s soccer team posted four second half goals to pick up an MACJC North Division win against Northwest Mississippi Community College Friday, Sept. 8, in Decatur.
The Warriors improved to 3-0-1 in the MACJC North Division and 3-1-1 overall. Northwest fell to 1-3-1 overall and 0-2 in the league.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Soccer Teams Split in Opening Division Matches at Holmes

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ men’s and women’s soccer teams opened 2017 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges North Division play Friday, Sept. 1, but with mixed results.
The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ women opened with a 2-0 loss to the unbeaten Lady Bulldogs.
The match was scoreless until the 47th minute when Kendal Walsh got Holmes on the scoreboard. Sarah Donahoo added another Lady Bulldog goal eight minutes later.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Women’s Soccer Wins Fifth Straight Season-Opening Match

Aubree Patterson netted the game-winning goal to give the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ women’s soccer team its fifth straight season-opening win, a 1-0 shutout of Motlow State Community College Saturday, Aug. 26.
The match against the Lady Bucks from Tullahoma, Tenn., was played on the Meridian Community College campus in Meridian.
Patterson, a sophomore midfielder out of Richland, found the net with 41 minutes left to play in the first half for the only score in the match.
Two-Time NCAA National Championship-Winning Soccer Coach to Present Clinic at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ

Two-Time NCAA National Championship-Winning Soccer Coach to Present Clinic at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ
Randy Waldrum, who won more than 475 matches and two NCAA Division I National Championships as a college soccer coach, will present a Coaches Clinic, Saturday, Aug. 12, at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur.
The clinic will be held at the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Soccer Complex on the north end of campus. The cost for soccer coaches to participate is $50.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Soccer Teams to Hold Open Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2017 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ women’s and men’s soccer teams will be held on the Decatur campus, announced head soccer coaches Gray Massey and Kenneth Thompson.
The men will hold their tryout on Thursday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. The women will hold their tryout on Friday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. Registration will be held at the Brackeen-Wood Physical Education Building beginning at 1 p.m.
