The Lady Warriors of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ had a tough loss on Monday night, January 31, as the team traveled to Wesson to take on the Co-Lin Lady Wolves. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ fell in the contest, 77-45, and dropped to 7-9, 3-6 on the year. Co-Lin improved to 11-7, 5-4 on the year.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior basketball dropped a low-scoring home contest January 27 to Southwest Mississippi, 44-39. The Lady Warriors made a heroic late-game push in the final minutes but came up just short in the MACCC matchup. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ fell to 7-8 overall and to 3-5 in conference play while the Lady Bears improved to 12-5, 7-1.

It was a tale of two halves for the East Central Lady Warriors on Monday night, January 24, as ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ fell to the Lady Rangers of Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, 83-69. The Lady Warriors dropped to 7-7 on the year and 3-4 in MACCC play and NWCC improved to 10-7, 4-4.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior basketball team was finally back in action on Thursday night, Jan. 13, after a month-long break. The team dropped a contest with the Itawamba Lady Indians, 60-42. The Loss drops the Lady Warriors to 3-4 overall and to 0-3 in MACCC play, while ICC improves to 9-3, 4-0.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ basketball programs are back from winter break and ready to hit the hardwood for the second portion of the 2021-22 season. The women's team enters the new year with a 4-5, 0-2 record, while the men are 3-5, 1-1. Both squads will be in MACCC play for the remainder of the season.

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors were unable to hand Coahoma Community College their first loss of the 2021-22 season, despite leading by six in the fourth quarter. The Lady Warriors, with a limited roster due to injuries, left it all on the floor on Monday night, Dec. 6, but fell to 4-5 on the year while the Lady Tigers improved to 7-0 after the 68-63 win.

The Lady Warriors of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ fell to 0-1 in conference play on Thursday night, Dec. 2, as the Pearl River Lady Wildcats remained undefeated on the year with a 76-49 victory. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ drops to 4-4 on the season, while PRCC moved to 7-0.

A strong second and third quarter was the difference-maker for the East Central Lady Warriors on Monday night, Nov. 29, as the team topped the Coastal Alabama-North Lady Eagles, 60-56, in front of a noisy home crowd in Decatur. The victory moved the Lady Warriors to 4-3 on the year and gives the team some momentum heading into the MACCC play beginning on Thursday.
