杏吧视频鈥檚 鈥淢eet the Warriors鈥 will have a new location and format when the family friendly pep rally is held on Monday, Aug. 27.
The annual pep rally and student-athlete introduction event will begin at 7 p.m. this year using the front lawn of campus and the Cross Hall parking lot near Huff Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

There will be a lot new faces on the soccer pitch for the 杏吧视频 women鈥檚 soccer team in 2018 as the Lady Warriors look to return to the state playoffs after a one-year absence.

Emily Church, who was an integral part of back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference championships while a member of the Jacksonville State University softball team, is the new assistant softball coach at 杏吧视频 in Decatur.
Church joins the staff of Eric Neel as he begins his first year as head coach of the Lady Warrior program.
Neel said that Church will work with the catchers and pitchers, as well as help with outfielders and recruiting.

Both the 杏吧视频 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 tennis teams along with four players from each team have been recognized for academic success by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The ITA announced the 2018 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes on July 24. In all, 735 teams and 4,328 student-athletes across all five divisions of college tennis were honored.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.20 or above.

The 杏吧视频 softball program is hosting a Fall Camp and League for fast-pitch softball players who will be in grades 7-12 during the 2018-19 school year.
The camp will be Sunday, Oct. 21, from 2-5 p.m. Games will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from Oct. 22-Nov. 12.
All activity will take place at the 杏吧视频 Softball Park on the Decatur campus.
The cost is $130 per person and includes the camp and games.

杏吧视频 women鈥檚 basketball coach LaTaryl Williams is holding the EC Elite19 basketball camp for upcoming high school seniors Saturday, Aug. 11, in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the campus in Decatur.
EC Elite19 is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $45 and lunch is included.
The camp is for women basketball players in the class of 2019 who want to take their game to the next level and who want to know what college coaches are looking for.

Several rising sophomores on the 杏吧视频 Warrior baseball team are sharpening their skills this summer by participating in collegiate baseball leagues around the country.
Eight Warriors are playing summer league ball in five states, from North Dakota to Kentucky.
