The newly ranked No. 13 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior soccer team flexed their muscles on Wednesday night, Sept. 7, as the team downed the Mississippi Gulf Coast Lady Bulldogs, 2-1. The win kept the Lady Warriors record perfect as the team moved to 3-0, while the Lady Bulldogs fell to 1-2.

The No. 15 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors moved to 2-0 on the 2022 season as they traveled to Memphis, Tenn., Sept.1 and took down the Columbia State Chargers, 2-1, at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
Warrior Football Falls to Coahoma in Season Opener

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors fell to Coahoma Community College, 52-28, in the 2022 season opener Sept. 1 to move to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers moved to 1-0 with the win and was the first Coahoma win against ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in the last three matchups. The Warriors defeated the Tigers in the last game of the year in 2021, 30-18.

Men's Home Soccer Match with Andrew College Cancelled

East Central's men's soccer home match against Andrew College, originally slated for Saturday, Sept. 3 at 4 p.m., has been cancelled. At this time, there is no makeup date scheduled.
The Warriors will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 9 as the team travels to William Carey to take on the Crusaders at 4 p.m., before traveling to Holmes the following Friday, Sept. 16 with a 3 p.m. kickoff.
