ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Announces 2021 Football Schedule

The 2021 football season is just 12 weeks away and the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference is slated for a full nine-game season. The East Central Warriors, who had to cut the 2020 season short due to COVID-19, finished the year 2-3 overall and closed out the year with a 13-10 overtime victory over Co-Lin in Wesson.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Sets Football Tryouts for Feb. 23

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors have scheduled open football tryouts for the 2021 season for Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. The tryouts will be held on Warrior Field at Bailey Stadium in Decatur on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ campus.

Four members of the 2020 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warrior football team have been named All-Conference by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference for their play during the recently completed season.
Canceled East Central vs. Hinds Football Game Will Not Be Made Up

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ announced today that its football game with Hinds Community College will not be made up and the Warriors 2020 season is officially over.
The two teams were scheduled to play on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ campus in Decatur on Thursday, Nov. 5, but the game was temporarily canceled earlier that day due to COVID-19 concerns associated with the Warrior football team.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Director of Athletics Paul Nixon informed Hinds Community College today that East Central would not be able to play the game this fall.
