The Holmes Community College Bulldogs opened a 21-0 halftime lead en route to a 49-14 win over the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors in the season opener for both schools Thursday, Aug. 31.

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Plans Thursday Homecoming Celebration in Fall 2017

ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ will start a new tradition in fall 2017 as its annual Homecoming Celebration will move from Saturday to Thursday for the first time in many years.
Homecoming 2017 at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ in Decatur is set for Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. The day will conclude with the annual Homecoming football game with the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Warriors hosting the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers at 6:30 p.m. in Bailey Stadium.
Warrior Elite Football Camp Postponed Until June 7
Because of expected inclement weather, the Warrior Elite Football Camp scheduled for Monday, June 5, has been postponed until Wednesday, June 7.

ECCC Football Coach Karcher Again Named MAC ‘Coach of the Year’

For the second straight year, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ head football coach Ken Karcher is the Mississippi Association of Coaches Community College Football Coach of the Year for the 2016 season.
Karcher will share the honor with Holmes Community College football coach Jeff Koonz.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Announces 2017 Football Schedule

Coming off its first Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges South Division title in program history, the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ football team will play five road games in 2017, including the first two games of the season.
The Warriors finished the 2016 season with a 5-5 overall record, including a South Division title and second straight trip to the state playoffs. It was the first time in 40 years that the Warriors competed in the state playoffs in consecutive seasons.
