The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warrior tennis team moved to 2-3 on the year as they defeated Holmes 7-2 on February 10, and fell to Gulf Coast 8-1 on February 11 and Co-Lin 7-2 on February 14, after a busy week of tennis. The Lady Warriors have many more matches on the slate for the season to bounce back from the two-match skid.
"We had some tough matches but had some strong efforts for numerous players, Maud and Camilla played well on the doubles court against some top teams and we had several players grinding on the singles courts," said ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ head coach Jay Pacelli. "We are looking forward to a great match against Hinds."
The Lady Warriors are on the road this Friday, February 18 as the team takes on Hinds at 2 p.m.
