Five ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Lady Warriors will represent the college at the annual MACCC Soccer All-Star game this weekend. The matches are set for Saturday, November 13 on the Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus. The women's all-star match will kickoff at 12 p.m. and the men's match will follow at 2:30 p.m.
Representing the women for East Central are (Meridian), (Dublin, Ireland), (Ocean Springs), (Lucedale), and (Belfast, United Kingdom).
Moore played and started in 13 matches for ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ this season and finished the year with two assists and five shots on goal. More importantly, Moore was a key piece to the Lady Warriors defensive line. O'Neill also played and started in 13 matches and posted four goals and four assists on the year. Winters was another key ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ defender that started and played in 14 matches this season. Clare was an electric player with 14 starts and seven goals on the season, three of which were game-winners. Clare also posted three assists on the season.
There will be no live stream of the event, but the game serves as a great opportunity for these sophomores to play in a final match together as teammates.
