Stephen Yelverton (left), owner/operator Rapid Rentals, presents a check to ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ foundation fundraiser Jason Tune establishing the Hilton-Yelverton Scholarship. This annual scholarship was established by Yelverton in 2025 to assist students continuing their education at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ. This freshman tuition scholarship is awarded annually and is renewed until graduation provided the recipient maintains a minimum 2.5 grade point average and an academic load that would permit graduation in four semesters. To be eligible for the scholarship the student must enroll at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ full-time in the fall following high school graduation; demonstrate the need for financial assistance; and be of good moral character.
