Based on preliminary enrollment data provided by the Mississippi Community College Board in Jackson, for the second straight semester, �Ӱ���Ƶ in Decatur is Mississippi’s community college leader in headcount growth on a semester-by-semester basis.  

 

Compared to the spring of 2023, the College has grown 13.6 percent in student headcount. 

 

“These numbers are very encouraging for everyone on campus,” said �Ӱ���Ƶ President Dr. Brent Gregory. “We have worked diligently to surround our students with strong faculty while providing With You In Mind service in all areas of campus. These changes, along with an effort to provide an outstanding college experience, have led to a higher retention of our current students and helped bring in several new students. �Ӱ���Ƶ continues to lead the state of Mississippi in serving our district.” 

 

�Ӱ���Ƶ has 2,214 students enrolled in spring classes, the highest spring semester headcount since 2019.
